Growing our team with the Kickstart Scheme…

Not one person on this planet has been left untouched by the impact of the global pandemic, but one positive change it has brought about is the widespread recognition of our need to protect our wellbeing and nurture a strong sense of community in our lives.

Over the past year, we have seen a growing demand for our wellbeing workshops as urban citizens seek breathing space from their everyday routines, the additional pressures of work-from-home life and a chance to expand their creative and professional skill sets alongside other like-minded individuals. However, with Talent Courtyard being at the forefront of this growing demand, it became clear that we too needed to grow in order to continue to support the wider communities that mean so much to us.

The newly launched Kickstart Scheme in Waltham Forest has enabled us to welcome a new team hire for our marketing and communications department, giving us the resources to continue to provide our immersive virtual wellbeing events to individuals and businesses, while also being able to provide impactful working opportunities to local talent affected by the pandemic.

Building and fostering strong communities is a cause that is close to our hearts, so we would like to thank Waltham Forest deeply for their support in helping us to grow our own community!

Welcoming Natalya…

Thanks to the Kickstart Scheme, we were able to bring our newest member of the team Natalya on board as our fantastic Marketing and Communications Assistant!

As we value community so deeply, we thought there would be no better way to introduce Natalya than by sharing the experience with you too!

So in true Talent Courtyard fashion, here is a mini-interview we conducted with her earlier this week…

Hi Natalya, firstly welcome, it’s so great to have you on board! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

“Hi everyone, thank you for having me! I’m Natalya, a recent university graduate that is in love with all things Marketing and Business. I originally went to uni to study Music Business with the intention of bagging a fancy job at a record label but since discovering Marketing and Social Media in my first year everything changed! I was instantly fascinated by how effective Marketing requires such a unique fusion of creative flair, business logic and an understanding of sociological and psychological influences within people. I have always loved a challenge, so I feel like this is definitely the field for me and I’m so excited for what the future holds!”

When you aren’t working, what can we find you doing?

“I’m a bit of a serial learner, so when I’m not working, I will probably be indulging in some new information or conducting a project on a topic that has recently caught my interest! With all this extra time I’ve had on many hands over the past year I have been learning about everything from coding to cocktails!”

Tell us about your favourite way to protect your wellbeing…

“I’ve always had a major interest in wellbeing as I’ve always believed that the world looks a lot brighter when you feel great within yourself! Exercising has always been one of the key ways that I look to protect my own wellbeing, however, my favourite way has to be within practicing positive self talk and gratitude. I think a strong mindset and keeping your vibrations high is so important, especially these days!”

What makes you most excited to be working with Talent Courtyard?

“The thing that makes me most excited is knowing that I am involved with something that can be truly life changing for many. There is still a big stigma to be tackled when it comes to mental health and wellbeing but I feel like we really are on the cusp of a big shift in how the world sees it! The fact that I can even play just a small role in that means the world to me and I’m thankful to the Kickstart scheme for bringing us together and making this all possible”

What to expect from TC…

How have you been feeling about everything lately?

We know that while things are slowly opening back up for us all in the UK, this doesn’t mean that life is suddenly going to snap back to normal. For many of us, transitioning back into our new “normal” lifestyles is going to be a stressful shift that can often leave us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. If you have been feeling this way, know that you are not alone!

With this in mind, we curate our virtual wellbeing workshops for teams to help you better manage the stress and struggles of everyday life, giving you creative and actionable solutions to live a healthier and happier life starting now. If you’re looking for a team culture boost in these challenging times with remote or hybrid working life, why not consider one of our seasonal wellbeing packages to build solid team connections and foster a strong sense of community?

This summer, our package theme is “Nature & Creativity” which includes our popular creative wellbeing workshops “Interactive, Collaborative Art“, “Bringing Nature into our Creative World” and “The Impact of Music“. Click here for more information and to inquire now… We can’t wait to work with you!
