ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Positive thinking techniques inspire optimism, confidence and positive emotions on multiple personal and professional levels. During this interactive, insightful workshop we will practice constructive exercises such as meditating introspectively, expressing gratitude, setting goals effectively and creating healthy habits, which give us tools to flourish in our daily lives.
No previous experience is needed.

THEME OF THE MONTH
Our theme for October is Mental Health Awareness, giving a time for all of us to acknowledge the struggles ourselves and others are facing when it comes to mental health whilst offering solutions to tackle them. Throughout the month, our workshops will follow this theme by helping you to explore intuitive methods for overcoming personal challenges and discover interesting new ways to express your emotions through creativity.
* 26th October, 6-7PM BST – Reassessing our Personal Strengths
This workshop is designed to help you (re)discover and apply your personal strengths in various ways, through a mixture of activities, conversations and reflection. Getting into the practice of doing intentional and effortful activities related to your personal strengths develops an awareness of wellbeing, positive qualities and natural talents, while also increasing a sense of community. Making a habit of these activities encourages sustainable happiness, balance and motivation.
BEFORE THE WORKSHOP
Find your signature strengths! Before attending the workshop, to identify your character strengths, take the online test available on the VIA website, which takes about 30 minutes. After taking the test, you will get the ranking of your 24 strengths. We will touch base on this during the workshop, so please print it out if you can and keep track of your top 4 strengths.
Note: Talent Courtyard is not affiliated with the VIA website, but doing the survey on their website allows you to access the survey easily and for free, plus it allows researchers to study further how character strengths work.

Please have some paper, pencil or biro at hand.
No previous experience required.
Andrea is founder of Talent Courtyard, holistic coach, visiting lecturer and professional trainer with 6+ years experience, specialising in positive psychology and NLP and passionate about culture and diversity. She is curious about various perspectives, logic and emotions. Her workshops are friendly, interactive, collaborative and educative.
This will be a virtual live session. Once signed up, you’ll receive a link to register to our Zoom virtual classroom.
