Crowdfunding and community…
We did it! And all thanks to YOU…
We want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our devoted community members, including both the individuals and the corporations that were so kind to support our important social cause.
Without you, none of this would be possible! So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us in our mission to support our wider community!
A message from us to you…
In the middle of February, we embarked on a new crowdfunding mission kindly backed by the Mayor of London’s Pay It Forward campaign in order to gather the resources necessary to support our wider community.
Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen a noticeable rise in the need for supportive spaces and a strong sense of community, particularly for urban citizens struggling to define a healthy work-life balance, while dealing with the increased anxiety and loneliness that all of us have been subject to.
With this in mind, we launched our crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising £10,000 to help us provide a more seamless virtual experience, offer a wider range of immersive wellbeing activities and collaborate with new local talent to keep our workshops fresh, exciting and impactful. However, most importantly, we launched our crowdfunding campaign with the aim of helping you to reduce and combat increased stress levels, challenge your creative and professional comfort zones and to build valuable connections with like minded individuals.
With your support, we were able to hit our milestone in just 8 weeks, meaning we are right on track to helping our global community live happier and healthier lives and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the future of Talent Courtyard holds for us all!
Importance of Community…
It’s safe to say, the community spirit we have witnessed over the last 2 months of our crowdfunding campaign has left us flawed time and time again. Looking back at all the wonderful individuals and corporate customers we have had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside over the last year, it really came as no surprise to us when we saw our campaign gathering the momentum that it did.
To have such a supportive and generous network as we do is the biggest blessing we could ask for, so thank you for sticking by us and believing in the Talent Courtyard vision as much as we do. Every bit of support, no matter how small has contributed towards helping us to make a real difference in the personal and professional lives of many and will also help us to expand this beautiful community further.
The pandemic has taught us all the valuable lesson that, as humans, we rely on a sense of community in order to feel supported and understood, in order to grow and feel like we truly belong and these are all essential for the health of our own wellbeing. Sadly, this is an aspect of social life that many of us have felt starved of over the past year and we are so grateful to be able to help urban citizens break these physical barriers and connect with a meaningful community with your help.
As combined forces, we are capable of incredible things and thank you dearly for reminding us of this!
Due to the incredible response to our campaign, over the next few months we look forward to bringing higher quality technology on board to refine our virtual experience, as well as a wider range and variety of creative and professional wellbeing workshops for you to get involved with, no matter where you are in the world.
97.5% of urban professionals working from home stated that our workshops had a positive impact on their overall wellbeing, meaning that businesses too can expect to benefit from the improved mental health, increased productivity and reduced work-related stress within their teams.
As a result, your impact means that we can also have a bigger impact on the world and it’s wellbeing! Thank you for helping us to make a difference where it matters most!
