Spotlight on your wellbeing: introducing our new events and a 12-week course!
The global discussion surrounding mental health has been accelerated in recent times and Talent Courtyard is always looking for new angles and solutions to taking steps forwards! With the backdrop of Youth Mental Health Day, we’re revealing some of our exciting new workshops and other special events that take innovative approaches to enhancing wellbeing.
Youth Mental Health Day
This week commences with Youth Mental Health Day, an event that encourages the understanding and awareness of mental health issues faced by young people with the purpose to enable them to live happy and healthy lives all year round. As mental health concerns in general have been multiplied in recent times, with one in eight people aged between 5 and 19 in England having a mental disorder, it’s necessary to get people talking about how to improve mental health.
By getting people engaged with the discussion, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and tackle the heart of the issue. As advocates for better mental health and wellbeing, here at Talent Courtyard we’re seeking to do our part to drive the discussion and offer solutions, of which is a motivation for our brand new workshops, courses and other events we will be unveiling in the upcoming weeks.
Virtual Wellbeing Afternoon Sessions
You asked, we listened! After a successful Virtual Wellness Day, we’re excited to introduce our Virtual Wellbeing Afternoon Sessions, half-day sessions of interactive wellbeing workshops designed for you to unwind and relax as you ease into the early evening.
The Afternoon Sessions will take place at 4.30PM-8.00PM BST on Thursday, 1st October and Sunday, 4th October 2020. Each separate date will deliver an alternate range of immersive workshops that will help you unlock your inner creativity and offer plenty of chances to socialise and network with like-minded individuals!
You will get the chance to settle in for the afternoon with a variety of activities guided by our wellbeing professionals, involving some gentle movement, creative expression, calming music, light-hearted fun and opportunities to collaborate at only £22 for the entire afternoon!

12-Week Transformational Art Course
In moving forwards to a new, more in-depth path to progressing yourself personally and professionally with our workshops, we are thrilled to be launching our 12-Week Transformational Art Course!
This immersive 3-month long programme includes twelve 60-minute online workshops on a weekly basis exploring Transpersonal Art Therapy, guided by art therapist trainee and facilitator, Klara Gaspar, with the aim to leave you calm and relaxed in addition to providing opportunities for significant social interaction through art and advancement of your own self-development. The entire course is virtual, with no previous experience required, and you will receive a certificate that shows proof for your completion of the course.
Workshops on the course take place weekly on Tuesdays at 8AM-9AM BST starting from 6th October and ending on 22nd December. We recommend attending the full course, available for £98.00, whilst this is also available in 3 instalments for each month.
